Curling Table by Bonaldo
Curling is a table with a gentle, clean and harmonious shape, which leaves no concession to the applied decoration.
The base of the Curling table is made up of a single piece of Carrara marble or black Marquinia, obtained by excavating a worked monolith and reduced to its most essential sense. The cylinder supporting the top is made of metal and the top has a transparent extra-clear glass finish, to lighten the figure as a whole. Characterized by an instinctive and immediately perceptible design, Curling has a strong character and an important stage presence. "As Michelangelo said, the sculpture is already inside the marble, you just need to remove the superfluous" with these words the designer Mauro Lipparini describes the concept of the table designed for Bonaldo. "The idea of Curling was born by attending the Carrara marble quarries, I let myself be inspired by the cubic white marble blocks".
