Sedia Barbican

A series of comfortable chairs suitable for all types of furniture. The project is based on the integrated padded seat, open or equipped with armrests, whose shell, in rigid polyurethane, can be upholstered in fabric, leather, either totally or using alternatively the two materials that highlight its enveloping shape. Now also available entirely in regenerated leather with details made with care and passion. The seat can be combined with three types of bases made of different materials such as wood or metal in two versions, making Barbican perfect for use in different contexts. The wooden base with connected curves is perfect for approaching important tables. The metal one, modern in design, is perfect both around a table and with desks or consoles dedicated to the home office. The tubular one is light and airy, very suitable for contract constructions where sturdiness and ease of use are of primary importance. Barbican is a multifaceted project that redefines the chair in a contemporary way.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Bases: Solid Ash stained in the colors of the Molteni range; support tips in non-slip plastic material. Laser-cut, heat-sealed and painted steel; support tips in non-slip plastic material. Die-cast aluminum elements assembled with thermosetting resins; support tips in non-slip plastic material. Die-cast aluminum, polished or painted; support tips in non-slip plastic material.

Back shell structure (versions in fabric / leather): Compact polyurethane with polyurethane padding; cotton / polyester fiber cover.

Seat shell structure (chair and chair with armrests in fabric / leather versions): Compact polyurethane co-molded with flexible cold-molded polyurethane; cotton / polyester fiber cover.

Body structure (regenerated leather version): Compact polyurethane co-molded with flexible cold-molded polyurethane; cotton / polyester fiber cover.

FINISHES

Upholstery: Fabric, leather, regenerated leather.
Wooden bases: Stained solid wood: eucalyptus, walnut, graphite oak, gray oak, black oak.

Metal bases: Pewter or zinc painted.
Swivel bases: Polished die-cast aluminum or glossy pewter painted.
