Octa has a dense network of metal elements that characterize the base.
Octa comes from the Greek "okto" which means eight: the number of legs that make up the elaborate base of the Octa table, metal elements intersected in an apparently disordered way. An idea born by playing with Shanghai sticks, a millenary pastime that suggests an idea of chaos and confusion, lightness and randomness. The top can be fixed or extendable, and is available in numerous materials and finishes; in the round version, the top is fixed and made of
crystal or ceramic. Its image, by contrast with the base, is sober and linear. The overall result is an almost molecular balance, for a decidedly unusual and elegant table, capable of characterizing the space with a refined and contemporary meaning: that of a sign that becomes an object.
