Adagio Sofa
A project that reveals a dynamic, unstructured character like the architecture of the visionary American architect. Adagio is a seating system built through the aggregation of defined volumes which however break the strict rules of orthogonality. Harmony arises from the balance of volumes, from unusual inclinations and thicknesses, from the visual lightness of the whole. The back is high and padded, while the soft seat cushion integrated with the chaise longue element is trapezoidal in shape, also with an asymmetrical shape.
The fruitful dialectic between designer and company has generated a product that perfectly integrates the design philosophy of Daniel Libeskind, strong and iconic, with the idea of sober elegance that is an integral part of the company's aesthetic code.
