In Saruyama, a visionary project designed in 1989, Kita joins the Saruyama Islands, mini-habitable structures that broaden the horizon of its possible spatial configurations. In the first sofa, an anticipatory project of extraordinary poetry, three geomorphic modules different from each other formed a large circular island; with the Saruyama Islands, the project develops alongside the former with an archipelago of colored and independent islands composed of small seats, chaise longues and tables. Each single element interprets a movement, a variation of flow, and represents it in a formal structure consistent with the organic nature inherent in the initial project.
It is a group of waiting seats consisting of an armchair, a sofa, a sofa and small and medium-sized poufs. Seats in injected flame-retardant foam with internal steel structure and wooden base. The Saruyama island collection is not removable.
